Representatives of the Italian exchange BitGrail, which specialized in cryptocurrency trading, announced that the company's funds had been stolen as a result of several unauthorized transactions. Ultimately, 17 million XRB coins (Nano/RailBlocks) were stolen from the company, which, according to market quotes at the time, was equivalent to about 170 million dollars.
Following the incident, the company was forced to enter payment insolvency (BANKRUPTCY). The company has already contacted the competent authorities, and a case has been opened regarding this incident.
Although other cryptocurrencies were not affected by the attackers, the company decided to suspend user transactions. It is still unknown when users will receive compensation for their losses, but company representatives promise that information will appear soon.
