Investing Test — appropriateness and knowledge

Check your readiness if you want to build a long-term portfolio — to hold stocks, ETFs and bonds, not to trade actively. You answer about your profile and financial situation, then take 12 questions from the investing foundation. You receive an appropriateness verdict on a spectrum and a knowledge score, with recommendations on the themes where you still need work.

What this test is. It is an educational self-assessment inspired by the methodology regulated brokers use to know their clients before opening an account for them, under MiFID II rules: objectives, financial situation and knowledge of directly held instruments — stocks, ETFs, bonds, funds. You take it here first, so you know where you stand. The result does not replace the broker's official assessment and does not constitute an individual investment recommendation.
How the result is saved. If you are authenticated, the result is saved in your Cabinet history as an Evaluation report, with one attempt per day, so you can track your progress from one attempt to the next. Without authentication, the test stays incognito: the result appears only on screen and is not saved.

How it works

The test has three modules. The first two are not scored and outline the context — your profile and experience. The third is scored. Appropriateness gives you a position on a spectrum, not a pass or fail; knowledge has a 70% passing threshold.

No score

1 · Your profile

Objective, time horizon, emergency fund, reaction to drawdowns and source of money. They are not scored, but the appropriateness verdict takes them into account.

No score

2 · Experience

What instruments you have used so far and for how long. The same score receives different recommendations depending on declared experience.

3 · Knowledge

Four themes: instruments, diversification and horizon, company analysis, taxation of investments in Moldova. You pass with at least 9 of 12. Questions rotate on every attempt, aligned with the investing courses.

What comes after the test

The test covers the investing foundation — the material from “Stock Market Investing” and “Investing for Retirement”. If you want to move from theory to a portfolio built with a mentor, the courses are the next step; the other public tests are in the hub.

Course “Stock Market Investing”

The complete curriculum behind this test: instruments, diversification, company analysis, taxation — theory and guided practice, with a mentor.

Risk note. Investing in financial markets involves risks, including loss of the invested capital. The value of investments can rise or fall, and past results do not guarantee future results. This test is educational: it does not constitute investment advice, does not recommend instruments or trades and does not guarantee results. The verdict describes your theoretical readiness, not the fit of a financial product with your personal situation.
